Every gemstone begins as a secret hidden in rock. This one started as a striated column of green tourmaline crystal — rough, unassuming, but unmistakably alive with colour. What emerged from the cutting wheel is something else entirely.
Meet TI56 — a 3.81ct green tourmaline baguette, measuring 15.2 × 5.5mm.
Cut and polished in-house, this stone showcases the clean, architectural lines of a true baguette cut — a style that demands precision and punishes any error. There's no hiding behind brilliant-cut sparkle here; every facet is intentional, every angle deliberate.
The Colour
A cool, forest green with excellent saturation and a glassy, mirror-like polish. Under natural light it shifts subtly — sometimes leaning teal, sometimes a deeper olive — the hallmark of tourmaline's natural pleochroism.
The Cut
The raw crystal shown above gives you a glimpse of what we started with: a striated column typical of elbaite tourmaline, showing the stone's growth history. Orienting the cut to maximise colour and minimise inclusions while preserving weight is the craft — and at 3.81ct from this rough, we're pleased with the yield.
For Collectors & Setters
At 15.2 × 5.5mm, TI56 is an ideal candidate for a bespoke ring, a statement pendant, or a collector's parcel. The elongated baguette silhouette pairs beautifully with yellow gold channel settings or sleek platinum bezel work.
